The Book of Judges is a new novel and series that is just outside the boundaries of what you may consider your normal life. The fact is, what most of us consider normal is actually teeming with subtleties and nuance that lie just beneath the surface of our everyday lives. We hold it so close, the control that we think that we have is only an illusion, and once that layer has been stripped away we are forced to face reality.

A harsh reality where evil is ever present and the warm glow of the sun cannot contain the monsters that hide behind a quick smile and a warm greeting. Once the sun bows to darkness, the evil is amplified and human or not, monsters are free to roam without  disguise under the cover of night. Atrocities are committed in the name of every emotion and once that threshold is crossed, balance must be restored.

Each of us has many choices to make and while most walk in peace with those around them, there are those that only find their way back after they have walked a road of violence and pain. For some, they choose the path of the monster, and those around them are nothing but prey in their eyes as they seek to satisfy the darkness within them…

…Until finally, their cup begins to run over with the blood of innocence and a Judge is called upon to dispense justice and restore order where there was only chaos.
