Derek Yarworth was born and raised in Michigan spending many of his early years pretending he was in some other place at some other time.

His first collection of works, Subtle Musings of a Waking Welshman, included the Word of Life Fellowship national award winning poem “Myself.”  The Book of Judges is his first novel.

He is a regulatory specialist in the MedTech industry, columnist and editor at Zelda Universe, and an avid gamer.

He resides in Michigan with his wife and three daughters who fill his life with love and a constant sense of wonder.
